The Professional Fellows Program is a global exchange initiative that connects professionals from more than 80 countries with U.S.-based organizations and peers. Its mission is to strengthen leadership capacity, encourage mutual understanding, and foster long-term collaboration across borders.
Participants are placed in carefully selected host organizations in the United States for four to six weeks, where they engage in practical, real-world work aligned with their professional background. These placements take place across nonprofit organizations, businesses, and public-sector institutions, allowing fellows to observe best practices, contribute their own expertise, and exchange ideas in meaningful ways.
The fellowship experience concludes with the Professional Fellows Congress in Washington, D.C., where participants gather to reflect on their journey, share outcomes, and build connections around shared global challenges and solutions.
